What's With That Radiant Pink Pout

Some of you may have been wondering... why is she obsessed with this LipSense stuff. She's posting about it, going live about it, and the selfies... what's with all the selfies?? Well I'm here to give you some insight. I enjoy wearing lipstick. And about a year ago I saw someone post about LipSense. Color that was smudge-proof, kiss-proof, and supposedly lasts for hours. I went looking at colors online and found a few I liked. Made a little note in my phone and went on my way. Months later a friend was hosting a party with LipSense. My entire family (me included) was very sick at the time, and I was also doing a no-buy January (basically no extra "fun" purchases). So I wasn't able to attend. But I still occasionally looked at colors, narrowed down my list, and had it on the back of my mind. Fast forward to July, and I finally had had enough of the waiting game. I was ready to pull the trigger and messaged my friend so I could get in touch with her distributor. We met at a Starbucks one evening exactly five weeks ago, and I tried a bunch of colors on my hand. Going into it, I told myself I was only going to buy one. But once I got there and saw how amazing the colors were, I ended up leaving with four! Not my finest moment, but I don't regret it. I started wearing it the very next day, and was so impressed. The color held up so well, and I just applied the gloss a few times throughout the day since I'm used to having chapstick on my lips. Within a week I had signed up to be a distributor. I couldn't wait to start sharing a product I was so excited about.

I love to wear makeup. And the last couple years I've been buying more fun shades of lip color. Bold reds, bright corals, deep wines. But I would put it on and I swear, after drinking my coffee each morning it would be uneven, half worn-off and just didn't look good. Some mornings I'd plan to wait until after I finished my coffee and breakfast to apply lipstick, but most of those days, things would get busy and I wouldn't ever get around to it. So my lip game was never very strong. Now I'm kicking myself for not checking out LipSense sooner. I bought quite a few lipsticks in that year of "waiting and wondering" about it. Basically dollars down the drain because I don't think I will ever go back to anything that isn't LipSense. It's great for everyday natural lips. It's great for bold lips. It's great if you enjoy wearing lip color and plan to eat a bite of food or drink even an ounce of coffee or water (or wine, let's be honest). Yes it's a unique application process. Yes it may take a couple times to get used to. But I have seriously loved discovering such a fun product, and I've had even more fun sharing it with girls who've never heard of it before! So many people say, "Lip What?" when I tell them about it. And there's so much more than just lip color! There's eye lash serums, and blushes, and eye shadows that have SUCH rich color. I just ordered my first two eye shadows last week and the colors, even though they are light and neutral, are so saturated. And you barely have to use any. I plan to make a video in the coming weeks, once I get a couple more colors. I seriously think one tube will go so far based on how little color has to be used.
